From the perspective of sustainability and environmental impact, the company conducted a full carbon footprint calculation for its logistics. The delivery of products from China to Portugal was carried out by sea using eight LCL (less than container load) and four FCL (full container load) containers. Considering the average weight of a pallet to be 270 kilograms, the total distance of 14,863 miles, and 12 annual shipments, the total CO₂ emissions amounted to 296,599.9952 kilograms, which is equivalent to 296.6 tons of carbon dioxide. This is a relatively high figure, typical for companies with stable international supply chains, but it also points to the need for more eco-friendly transportation solutions, such as switching to more efficient routes, using combined transport modes, or choosing more environmentally friendly suppliers.
